C&B International was founded initially as an overseas base for
C&B (UK) to supplement the HPD Champ car development programme. From
this beginning it has developed into a high quality composites
manufacturing facility in its own right. The facility provided the skill
to pattern, mould and produce full size parts, which had been wind
tunnel tested at 40% for the Honda powered teams. Most of these teams
are based in the Indianapolis area, so this proved to be a very
convenient location for C&B.
MIRA
The UK's only full-scale wind tunnel is a cost-effective solution for
the aerodynamic development of a wide range of applications. Our wind
tunnel is available for hire to private individuals as well as major
automotive OEMs and motorsport teams. The tunnel is just one of a range
of complementary secure facilities all located on one site. These
include a model-scale wind tunnel, climatic wind tunnels, thermofluids
laboratory and our Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling suite.

cars. Our expertise extends to F1, Sports cars, and Champ cars.
Windshear, Concord, USA
US~based Wirldshear will open in 2008 as the most advanced wind tunnel
of its kind. Located In Charlotte North Carolina, It will be the world's
first commercially available full-scale, single belt, rolling road wind
tunnel. Windshear accommodates 100% full- scale vehicles, providing
airspeeds up to 180mph and temperatures within 10 C The high- tech
rolling road, 3.2 x 9 metres long, is a continuous stainless. steel belt
I mm thick Windshear will operate continuously with a staff of 25. The
facility will be available for hire to motor sports teams and
manufacturers worldwide.
