In general we attract high earners, and large corporate companies because of this
We always end up with top of the range super cars on our events.
We would like to attract celebrities and the rich and famous to raise the profile of our company.

We offer a range of 5 star events where our team take care of everything
The main part of our business is organizing road rallies with the support of our team.

Gumball 3000
A modern day version of the infamous 1970s road trip movie, each year the route changes but the foundation of the rally stays the same: 3,000 miles of adventure with the most eccentric group of thrill-seekers imaginable, partying every night with the who’s who of international society and pop culture.  Cars featured on the rally range from million-dollar luxury vehicles to VW campers and even ice cream trucks.

Candy Run

Mongol Rally
How does the greatest adventure in the world sound? What about 10,000 miles, 7 mountain ranges, 3 deserts, bandits, roads ranging from bad to non-existent and all this in a car you swapped for a bag of crisps?

Staples2Naples
Staples2Naples is the original and leading European banger rally. First run in 2003, it has grown to become one of the most sought after dates on the calendar.

Furball5000
It started as an eight-day driving adventure and has grown into an amazing community. Think of the FB5K as a kind of club for petrolheads.

Uber Drive
Our aim is for you to come away from events with great memories and stories you can tell for years to come.

Cannonball 8000
Cannonball 8000 is driven by the belief that like minded individuals from all walks of life can congregate and surmount the challenges faced on the rally, and end up forming longstanding friendships regardless of status or wealth.

Scally Rally
Scally Rally is a European banger Rally and driving challenge... but there's a catch ! To enter Scally Rally your car must have cost you £100 (or less). We did say it was a challenge!!

Cannonball Run Europe
Inspired by the great man and in defiance of the then introduced 55 mph US speed limit, rebellious journalist Brock Yates launched the “Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash”.

Scumball Rally
Scumball 3000 Limited the only official alternative event that takes you across Europe over four days raising money for much needed national charities.

Jolt Rally
The first rally will be held in July 2007; starting and finishing in London, stopping en route in some or Europe's most exciting cities!

Motoscape
Buy a car for £100 (customise it and sponsor a charity if you like). Find a friend or two (male or female) and join us on the experience of a lifetime. Starting in France, we will travel through seven European countries in seven days. Cross over spectacular bridges, round magnificent lakes, negotiate breathtaking mountain passes and much more!

Torpedo Run
Start in Ahaus, North of Düsseldorf (Germany), and end at Lake Garda in Italy. Car enthusiasts from Europe and overseas can look forward to an extraordinary mobile party, including eccentric parties, luxury hotels, legendary racetracks and exclusive events the likes of which you will never have experienced before. The Torpedo Run gives you a long weekend of sheer fun!

Ramshackle Rally
If you have ever participated in another banger rally then you’ll find Ramshackle refreshingly different. If you haven’t – then this is certainly the one to start with! It’s the birthplace of lunacy and the epitome of oddness where nothing ordinary is tolerated

Sahara Challenge
The route takes participants to Le Mans, Bordeaux, Bilbao (overnight), Madrid, Fuengirola (overnight), and then across the Gibraltar Straits to Tangier, Morocco. Visiting the exotic cities of Fez, Marrakesh and Casablanca, over the High Atlas and around the Anti Atlas Mountain range

Plymouth to Dakar
Unofficially spoken of as 'The Ultimate Banger Challenge', yet another motley collection of cars costing less than £100 will be assembled to drive over 3,000 miles from the South coast of Great Britain to the West coast of Africa.

Rabbit Run
Rabbit-Run is a FIVE star, passionately well organised, car tour of Europe. The restriction of numbers also enables high quality support from Rabbit-Run throughout the event.

Road Rally - USA

Driving Adventures
We are proud to be a world leading specialist tour company providing enthusiasts the opportunity to recapture the enjoyment of the open road by taking you on our international and national ”driving adventures” across some of the best roads located among some of the world's most scenic destinations.

GROUP TOURS
Since 2005, we have been providing car clubs, corporate companies, dealerships, international magazines and private groups and individuals with our specialist tour services that include over 20 years in the travel industry.

Great American Run
Europe's most outrageous road rally, Cannonball Run Euroope, comes to the States: the Great American Run is set to be the largest coast-to-coast car rally in U.S. history.

Scenic Road Rallies
In 1976 I purchased a 1970 AMC AMX and shortly thereafter organized a club, The Tri-State Classic AMX Club based in Cincinnati, Ohio. One of the older members (I was 20 years old at the time.) taught us how to do fun or gimmick Rallies. Several time a year our club would sponsor a Road Rally strictly for the 2 seater AMX owners. It was very unusual back then to find 15-20 AMXs participating in a Road Rally event and those days will never come back. I continued to do gimmick Rallies for friends, dealerships, clubs, etc. over the years and in 2004 I formed Scenic Road Rallies, LLC. Today in 2009 we design and conduct 25 Road Rally courses each year throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia & Massachusetts.

Products & Services
Scenic Road Rallies, LLC, based in Sunman, Indiana, designs and conducts private & public automobile Road Rallies for State Parks, Tourism Bureaus, fundraisers, festivals, dealerships, restaurants, clubs, weddings, etc. The bulk of our Rallies are held in Indiana, Ohio & Kentucky, however we are open to holding events anywhere in the United States.

Additional Information.
Scenic Road Rallies engages the automobile enthusiast’s interest in the lost art of the “Sunday afternoon drive.” A time when the pace was slower and you could tell the difference between a Lincoln and a Chrysler from 100 yards away. A time when your parents took you out for a drive in the country to see the dogwoods and redbuds blooming in the spring or to pick apples in the fall.

Scenic Road Rallies takes you back to that time through our rural driving tours of Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Massachusetts. Each tour is specifically planned to keep the driver on the least traveled path; we visit small towns that time has forgotten while traveling the back roads that crisscross the countryside like honeysuckle on an ash tree.

What Is A Road Rally?

A Road Rally is a driving tour in the country, on public roads where a group of people compete in a very casual outing for points to win prizes. The vehicles driven range from pickup trucks to sports cars, from show cars to everyday drivers. Any street legal vehicle can be entered into a Rally.

Due to the logistics and time constraints of a tour, our Rallies are limited to fifty vehicles. At least two people are needed in a vehicle, a driver and a navigator, although additional passengers will be beneficial. All participants in the vehicle are know as a “team.”

Shortly before the Rally begins, all teams are assembled for a general briefing on the course and any safety concerns that may need to be addressed. The teams are then lined up and released onto the course at two minute intervals. Our Rallies are held rain or shine.

As each team leaves the “gate” they receive a “Rally Packet” which includes directions, scavenger hunt list and tour questions. The directions might say for example: Travel 3.2 miles on Harrison Avenue, turn right onto Eagle Creek Road. By following these easy to read directions, the teams will work their way to the final destination. The scavenger hunt list will feature items which can be collected during the course. These items could range from a pine cone to a four leaf clover. Five points are awarded for each item collected. The tour questions will be typical for the route. For example: Who lives at 2934 Wolf Run Road? As each team drives up Wolf Run Road, they need to look for the correct mailbox and write down the name posted on the mailbox. Five points are awarded for each correct answer. All of our tours have at least one scheduled “Pit Stop” which is a pre-designated spot on the route where you can get out of your vehicle, stretch your legs and take a bathroom break.

Our Rallies are designed in such a way that no matter what you are driving, the car does not hold the competitive edge. The team driving a 6 cyl. Rambler can easily outscore the team driving a 427 Corvette. The objective of the rally is twofold. First, is to have an enjoyable drive in the country while viewing the beautiful land where we live. Second, is to score points in order to be eligible to win prizes after the Rally.

At the conclusion of the Rally, the scores are tallied and prizes are handed out to the top scoring teams.

To compete in a Road Rally, the driver must be eighteen years of age, possess a valid drivers license and bring proof of automobile insurance. Drivers license and insurance card must be current. Vehicle registration will not be accepted. If you can’t meet these three requirements, we will be unable to accommodate you. If you are not pre-registered for a Road Rally, please call 24 hours in advance or log on to our website to insure that positions are still available.

When you attend a Road Rally, be sure to bring a clip board, a pen or pencil, a shoe box or bag for your scavenger hunt items, bottled water, a full tank of gas and pack a lunch with soft drinks. Optional items you might want to bring to make your day more enjoyable: Camera, lawn chairs, binoculars, road map of the area where the Rally will take place, hand soap and patience.

What not to bring to the Road Rally: Alcohol, and a lead foot to show off how fast of a car you have. Either one of these before, during or after the event will result in immediate disqualification (and possible criminal action.) Due to safety issues and insurance liabilities, please do not bring your pet to a Road Rally.

Our Road Rallies are in no way, shape or form, a race! The Rallies are family oriented with no alcohol permitted before, during or after the event. We strive to take the contestants on the roads least traveled and we’ll definitely take you to places that most people don’t even know about. After reading over our list of Rally offerings for 2009, we’re sure you’ll find something that will be of interest to you and your family. Please log onto our website at www.SCENICROADRALLIES.com to view thousands of pictures from past Rallies and to preview pictures of sites on future Rallies.

If you have never been on a Road Rally or if you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call. We have been organizing Road Rallies since 1979 and can almost guarantee your Saturday afternoon drive in the country with us will be enjoyable and a day to remember. We can also setup a private Road Rally for your family or class reunion, church or school fundraiser, company picnic, club activity or party. For information on this, log onto our website at www.SCENICROADRALLIES.com and go to “Private Rallies”.
