		see also:     Nissan 1st Nissan Breakers - StrikeEngine Report 6.10.10 We ordered a rear brake caliper, a corner indicator and wiper motor. 18.10.10 When the parts arrived the indicator was damaged, the caliper was for the wrong side. 25.10.10 Nissan 1st have been informed of the issues within a week of the parts being received. 3.12.10 Initially our emails have not been responded to but eventually after 6 weeks they have got back to us advising they have a spare caliper and indicator. 3.12.10 We arranged to send back the caliper at our expense if Nissan 1st would send out the caliper at their expense. 7.1.10 After nearly a month of waiting for the caliper to be sent out we have decided that despite what we have arranged we would take the hit for the postage for the replacement to be sent out. Nissan1st have stated the courier had a backlog, for our perspective this was not acceptable even if there was snow and the Christmas holidays. We were not prepared to wait any longer to see when Nissan1st would get round to sending them We have stated we also need engine mounts and Nissan1st would supply the engine mounts free of charge seeing as they were not paying for the shipping to send the replacement caliper. This will be acceptable if the parts arrive as described. 19.1.10 We are waiting for the courier to collect today as there was some misunderstanding between Nissan1st and the courier yesterday. Standards regarding the quality and accuracy of the parts they are sending, in our experience is low. 2. Resolving issues, in our experience, seems to take a long time and a lot or prodding from the customer 3. Arrangements agreed to by Nissan1st take a long time to be implemented if at all, ie the nearly month time frame in sending out of the replacement caliper 3.
