Our tech department has been hard at work to get you the information you need to monitor your vehicle's vitals. This time we're taking an in depth look at how to hook up what are considered by many tuners to be essential gauges on an 07 Subaru WRX STi. We also examine the installation of the #20018 Center Dash Pod, and include some helpful tips for installation.

Defi
Defi-Link Display is a multipurpose monitor which provides information on speed, oil temperature, water temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure, and exhaust temperature by connecting to the Defi-Link Control Unit II or the Defi-Link Control Unit(end of sale).

Defi-Link Display can be connected to Defi-Link Meters and Defi-Link Meter BFs by using the DAISY CHAIN wiring system.

Farringdon Instruments designs and manufactures a range of instruments for motor racing enthusiasts.

The RCA60 Lap Timer is a replacement for our very successful RCA10.  The new model is powered by the car (or bike) and consists of just the display and the Infra Red Detector.  As these work well off the PI permanent beacons at most UK tracks, the Farringdon Beacon is an optional extra.

The RCA400 uses the same display as the RCA60 but it is connected to our SD Card based data logger, the FD20.  This combination provides professional data logging with a small descrete display for lap times and performance display.

The SWIS10/20 Steering Wheel Instrument Systems allows all the essential instrumentation for a racing car to be packaged into the steering wheel.  The SWIS10 comes in two versions, one with a lap timer and the other with instruments alone.  The SWIS20 version includes the SD Card FD20 professional data logger.

GReddy
Straight from our Japanese Domestic Market is our SMI line of linkable meters. The GReddy SM Intergate (Stepping Motor Drive Integrate) metric gauges connect upto 6 SMI meters (Turbo, Exhaust Gas Temp, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Fuel Pressure, & Oil Temp.) with the GReddy Control Unit. The simplified wiring with the SMI has never been easier. The Control Unit allows for easy usage of Warning and Peak Hold Functions. The unit can also record upto 40sec. of data with the built-in memory. Plus the is the stylish interactive start-up display on the classic easy to read GReddy gauge face.
