Perfect Power
It started all back in 1984.
Someone gave me a fuel injection system to repair. I was
amazed at how simple and primitive the design was. I thought
I would be able to make a much better one: and I did! The
first unit I designed went into a 4x4 off-road vehicle. When
the 4x4 started to win races, I got really hooked. I bought
another 4x4, fitted our fuel injection system, race prepped
it and entered it in other, more competitive "Off-Road"
races. I only managed to complete 1 out of 3 races covering
more than 3000 KM in Africa. During these races, we lost
brakes, had the prop shaft go through the sump, seized the
fuel pump, broke shocks, buckled rims, uprooted some trees,
flattened bushes and dented our ego. But the only thing
which didn't break was the fuel injection system!
Microtech

LT4, LT8S and LT12S come from
our factory with a pre-programmed base map to suit your
particular
engine, greatly simpifying the installation and start up
process. Once the unit is wired into the vehicle correctly,
simply turn the key & the car will start and run well enough
to be driven to your closest tuning shop for final tuning.
All LT's can be fined tuned
either by the
hand controller or by
laptop making the system perfect for the 1st time tuner
or the professional racer.
Another major advantage of
the MicroTech is it's ability to use the factory engine
sensors. No more drilling, tapping, modifying or making
special brackets to fit aftermarket sensors. A job that is
compulsory with almost all other aftermarket management
systems.

A Tour de Force in understanding modern OEM engine managements
systems. This book gives you a very clear understanding of all
the variables that are controlled by modern systems as well as
the philosophy behind the control of the features. Written by a
professional who earns his crust developing engine managements
systems for OEMs |
Probably one of the most hands-on books available for tuning
engine management systems. Nowhere near as focussed on the
technical aspects as the first 2 books listed here but well
worth a read for real world guide to engine mapping. Book has
large section on carb vehicles which is not neccessary.
